Right now, i am blogging to you by using a content management system or CMS. The CMS i am using is the popular Wordpress blogging platform. But i bet you didn’t know that Wordpress could be used for other type of sites. You can use Wordpress to set up static web pages as well. You can set up database based php sites that are easy to manage. Wordpress is a very versitle content management system. I’ve seen sites that look and feel very professional and they were all on Wordpress.

When you’re getting into web development, it’s important to learn new programs. The hard part is making money while you learn. There are only so many hours in a day. It’s hard for a new person to try to learn everything. So, when you are starting out in the hyperlinked game, you should pick a content management system that you feel comfortable with. I am constantly learning different CMS platforms. I am pretty comfortable with Wordpress, so a lot of my projects (websites) are build with Wordpress. I think you should set up sites using Wordpress.
