Blogging is really popular now. It seems like every Tom, Dick, and Harry have a blog set up. I’m not just talking about your own personal homepage either. I’m not talking about myspace or facebook pages. I’m talking about blogs. There are a lot of people who are using blogger or blogspot. There are other who use wordpress and typepad. Some go more advanced and use wordpress self hosted and movabletype.

There are so many options to choose from. Sometimes, it’s a bad thing to have too many options. It can confuse you. It can get intimidating because you have to learn a lot of new things. Blogging should be simple. It should be about putting up your opinions quickly and easily. You don’t want to have to read and learn something just to write a few rants, do you?

Right now, i am blogging to you by using a content management system or CMS. The CMS i am using is the popular Wordpress blogging platform. But i bet you didn’t know that Wordpress could be used for other type of sites. You can use Wordpress to set up static web pages as well. You can set up database based php sites that are easy to manage. Wordpress is a very versitle content management system. I’ve seen sites that look and feel very professional and they were all on Wordpress.

When you’re getting into web development, it’s important to learn new programs. The hard part is making money while you learn. There are only so many hours in a day. It’s hard for a new person to try to learn everything. So, when you are starting out in the hyperlinked game, you should pick a content management system that you feel comfortable with. I am constantly learning different CMS platforms. I am pretty comfortable with Wordpress, so a lot of my projects (websites) are build with Wordpress. I think you should set up sites using Wordpress.

I was reading a pretty cool blog about making money online today. It turns out that it’s relatively easy to make a few extra bucks on the site. My blog has a lot of potential because the domain has been aged and i could build on the google PR that it has. I’m not sure if i will lose it or not in the next update. We shall see. Anyway, i was over at bloggernoob.com and feeling energized and motivated. I was damn near inspired. I’m going to fill this site up with content and i will monetize it piece by piece. I figure that i can make back the money i spent for this domain and hosting in the next couple months.

What is a Hyperlinked Doc? A hyperlink is a link that are directed to another part of a page. The world wide web is filled with hyperlinked docs. This site will talk about all of the web tricks. If you are a web master, you should find this site to be useful. Hyperlinked-docs dot com will talk about the web, technology, and blogging. I started this blog because i saw that a lot of my friends were having fun blogging. I think blogging is a great way to let everything out. People need to vent sometimes and i wanted to do the same. I am interested in the internet and stuff, so i will talk about the internet and other cool geek stuff.
