getting support

July 21st, 2008 by hyperlinked docs

I love the idea of help desk support. I think that it’s really cool that someone can help me even though they are not physically next to me. The internet is really amazing. You can chat and have voice conversations even thought you are miles away. You can visit sites from all over the world from the comfort of your own home. Business services is also fast and easy online. You can get help with support from people who are far away. They can use remote infrastructure management to help you with anything. Getting assistance could never be easier. If you want to find out more info about this service, visit the links in this blog post. You will thank me later.

fax machines

July 21st, 2008 by hyperlinked docs

Fax machines are big clunky things. I don’t understand why they have to be so big. Can’t they design and build a fax machine that doesn’t take up a lot of space in your office? Or why not just get rid of your fax machine? Even if you need to send and receive faxes, you can do it without a fax machine. All you need is a printer, computer, and an internet connection. The new age is all about innovation. It’s about new technology and moving forward with progress. If you’re still on the old fax machines, get busy and find out more about sending and receiving faxes online. You can take care of you online faxing and other fax solutions from your home computer.

merpati college

July 9th, 2008 by hyperlinked docs

I love education. I think we should live our lives constantly learning. I’m not big on traditional educational methods. I doubt that i learned anything worthwhile when i was in college. I learned social skills but i didn’t take advantage of the educational system. I should have spent more time researching stuff. I should have spent time at the lab working on project for my own benefit. Instead, i just did the assignment for a grade. I didn’t even get good grade. I just got by.

call conference

July 9th, 2008 by hyperlinked docs

Making a conference call is common now. We make these type of conference calls in our work place. We have to talk to our vendors and clients. It helps to have a conference with the conversation. If you are new to conference calls, the terms used can get a bit confusing. You may misunderstand the situation or conversation. I had trouble understand when i first started using conference calls. I found a good website that deals with this issue. It’s a site about the different terms associated with conference calls. If you want to look up a new term, all you have to do is check out this website. The website can be found at conference-call-glossary dot com. The website is a great place to refer to when you don’t understand a term about conference call.

Working Together Producing a hyperlinked document

July 4th, 2008 by hyperlinked docs

Producing a hyperlinked e-brief or other volume of associated documents entails a high degree of communication and organization between Monarch and its customers.

Prior to beginning the process, we will send you a detailed manual outlining our respective tasks, which are discussed only briefly here. The earlier in the process we can provide input, the more time and cost efficient the process will be.

Your first task will be to gather the needed documents, i.e. brief(s) transcripts, exhibits, video clips, etc., and organize and identify them so they are easily recognized when we receive them. Tasks such as scanning can be done at your end or ours, depending upon your preference.

Upon receipt of the documents, we analyze them and consult with you to insure that presentation on-screen meets with your strategic objectives. We then create the hyperlinks using automated electronic publishing software, and publish the project, with its viewer, on CD. We send a draft of the completed project for your review and comments prior to publishing the final CD for submittal to the court.

Information Services

July 4th, 2008 by hyperlinked docs

Monarch Information Services provides services to courts, law firms, and government agencies, creating hyperlinked briefs and other complex documents for distribution on CD-ROM. Media can include text, images, video, and sound.

Our Services

We use highly automated software to create hyperlinks between associated documents. This process offers exciting new possibilities for the presentation and dissemination of legal and regulatory documents as well as any other data which is voluminous or complex.

Legal

Electronic Hyperlinked Briefs (e-brief)

There is no better way to present a complex case for review than an e-brief on CD-ROM. Links to case law, treatises, exhibits, transcripts, video and sound are all identified in your brief as blue underlined text. A single click takes the reader to the referenced document, and another click returns them to their previous location in the brief. Imagine how much more effective your argument is when read without unnecessary interruptions.

The staff at Monarch has created and submitted e-briefs to state and federal courts including the United States Supreme Court. No one can match our experience or our dedication to quality.

Trial and Appeal Preparation

Appeal preparation can often require teams of lawyers, possibly in different locations, to review and digest massive volumes of paperwork.

All of this data could instead be organized, hyperlinked, and cross-referenced, and then distributed on CD. All users at any location would have access to all of the record without duplicate “war rooms”. Text documents such as trial transcripts, declarations, depositions, and findings of fact are cross-referenced by hyperlinks, searchable, and all documents on the CD can be printed. No off-the-shelf case management tool can match this ready-to use product.

Regulatory

Navigating through federal, state, and local regulations can be a daunting challenge. Each level of authority references associated regulations at other levels of government, and the thread can seem endless.

As an example of efficiency made possible with hyperlinks, imagine all of the land use codes and regulations for a municipality on a CD (zoning, subdivision, sign, open space, environmental, health, shoreline, building, and public works), with cross-hyperlinks to all referenced material. Grouping and hyperlinking associated codes such as the above example have proven to be highly beneficial to land use professionals.

Monarch uses highly automated electronic publishing software to create and distribute its hyperlinked documents. Unlike other electronic publishing software in which hyperlinks must be created manually, we use processes that recognize text and formatting patterns, and automatically create hyperlinks to the referenced document and page/paragraph..
